How we work
If you wish to use our services,
you will need to provide us with some personal
details about you (See our privacy policy). You can
provide us with these details by filling in our
online form or calling our office and speaking to
one of our staff.
There is no charge for
registering and you are not under any obligation to
do so.
One of our consultants will then
speak with you at length to understand your
requirements in order to be able to provide you with
the correct domestic staff.
We can either recommend someone
in our ‘bank’ of candidates or we can start a new
search that will meet your specific needs. See our
vetting procedure and security measures.
Whichever way, whoever we have
selected and short listed will be sent to you for
final screening and approval. Once you have approved
someone for your vacancy we will then do the
necessary paperwork.
If the staff you require is a
permanent position, you will need to draw up a
contract of employment. This will include;
-
Name of employer and employee
-
Job title
-
Start date
-
Place of work
-
Salary details
-
Duties
-
Contractual hours and
specifics of overtime
-
Sickness entitlement and
holiday entitlement.
-
Length of notice required to
terminate contract.
-
Details of disciplinary and
grievance procedures.
This contract then becomes
legally binding and we strongly recommend that this
be in place prior to commencement of the position.
You will also need to register
with the Inland Revenue if the wages you pay per
week are more than £91. Please read more about your
responsibilities as an employer
here.
